The FR SL Seven is inspired by the
FR SL 80 Flat and a lot of good things about that inline skate can be repeated for the FR SL Seven.
The FR SL Seven exists in two colours:
the FR SL Seven Grey Blue
and
the FR SL Seven Black.
The carbon base is just like other SL boots; recognized as the best.
The FR SL Seven Grey Blue has a nice colour way and the FR SL Seven Black has a more neutral colour.
The FR SL SEVEN features the same base as the other SL skates, a carbon shell, 2 buckles, premium insoles, MW9 bearings, a plastic cuff.
The FR SL Seven distinguish itself from its SL sister skates with:
- The FR Rockerable Freestyle Frame is mounted onto the FR SL Seven skate.
These wheel bases of the frame are used:
219 mm ( 80/68 ) from size EU 34 to 37,
231 mm ( 84/72 ) from size 38 to 42,
237 mm ( 90/72 ) from size 43 to 47.
This is a very special frame: it is rockerable and the middle wheels are smaller. So although the outside wheels are quite large, the wheel base is still short and good for slalom.
- Because the FR Rockerable Freestyle Frame has a carbon cuff, it is very rigid at the ankle. That has advantages, but a lot of riders prefer a less rigid cuff, especially if they are interested in fitness and freeride too. Because the cuff of the FR SL Seven is made of plastic, it is less rigid and it makes this skate a more versatile tool for any type of skating.
The FR SL Seven Grey Blue has black
FR Street Invaders wheels.
The FR SL Seven Black has white
FR Urban Freestyle wheels. The larger outer wheels are softer (82A) for best grip & stability and the smaller inner wheels are harder (84A) for increased maneuverability.
Whether you prefer the FR SL Seven Grey Blue or the FR SL Seven Black is a matter of personal taste.
