They have a good value for money as a replacement of your current 80mm wheels.
Their durometer at 88A is quite high which means they will not wear easily. Also they have a remarkable rebound.
The wheels can endure extreme pressures during slides, jumps and stair rides, particularly when the entire body weight is concentrated on a single wheel. In order to withstand the high forces the core of Spinner is made of very durable glass-fiber reinforced composite material.
Strengths:
- High rebound.
- Lasting long.
Weaknesses:
- The package labels the wheel as having a "race" radius, while it has an urban radius.
- The radius ( = wheel profile) is asymmetric. The technical explanation of the manufacturer that there is "polyurethane meat" against wear at one side, sounds illogical. Freeride wheels should be rotated frequently in order that they wear evenly at the inner and outer edges, so the asymmetric radius is a strange feature.
